Help with Baga, the four-player trick-taking card game.
Baga is a private, invite-only iOS game built for friends and family. If something isn't working or you have a question, the fastest way to reach us is by email. Most common questions are answered below.
Getting started
How do I get into Baga?
Baga is distributed as an unlisted App Store app, so there's no public store page. If you have the invite link, you were invited — open it on your iPhone, install the app, and sign in with Apple to create your profile.
How do I start or join a game?
A table seats four players in two teams, partners across from each other. Create a room and share the room code, or join an open room from the Active Games screen. Any empty seat can be filled with an AI player so a game can start the moment you're ready.
Common questions
Voice chat isn't working
Push-to-talk needs microphone access. Open iOS Settings → Baga and make sure Microphone is enabled. On the same network, Baga also uses Local Network access so voice and game updates flow quickly — enable that too if prompted. Declining a permission only disables that one feature; the rest of the app keeps working.
I got disconnected mid-game
If your phone sleeps or your signal drops, your seat is held and you can rejoin the same room and pick up where you left off. If the room has already closed, the completed game is saved to your History.
I'm not getting notifications
Notifications let you know when a friend starts a game so you can drop in. Enable them in iOS Settings → Baga → Notifications. If they're on and still not arriving, fully close and reopen the app once.
How do I change my name or photo?
Open the Profile screen and edit your display name, or tap your avatar to pick a new photo. Changes apply to every room you join afterwards. Choosing a photo needs Camera or Photo Library access, which you can manage in iOS Settings → Baga.
What is Stealth Mode?
Hosts can switch on Stealth Mode from the lobby gear icon. The room is hidden from Active Games (joinable by room code only), and the result is skipped on the Leaderboard and Game History — handy for practice rounds.
Sign in with Apple problems
Sign in with Apple is the only sign-in method. If you're stuck, sign out and re-authorise from the launch screen. To fully disconnect Baga from your Apple ID, go to iOS Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → Baga → Stop Using Apple ID.
Privacy & your data
Baga collects only what's needed to run multiplayer games — no location, no contacts, no ad tracking, and no third-party analytics. To request a copy or deletion of your data, email support@bagame.app with the subject "Delete my Baga data" and your display name; we'll handle it within 7 days. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
